# Privacy Policy **Last Updated:** February 15, 2026
## Overview
iPC ("the App") is a cross-platform link sharing tool developed by Nicolas Colon ("Developer", "we", "us"). This privacy policy explains how the App collects, uses, and protects your information.
**The short version:** iPC stores your shared links in your own Google Drive account. We never see, collect, or store your links on our servers.
## Information We Access
### Google Account Information
When you sign in with Google, the App accesses:
- **Your email address** — Used solely to display which account is connected within the App. We do not store, transmit, or use your email for any other purpose.
### Google Drive (App Data Folder)
The App uses the `drive.appdata` scope to access a **hidden, app-specific folder** within your Google Drive. This folder:
- Is not visible to you or anyone else in Google Drive
- Can only be accessed by iPC
- Contains only the link data (URL, title, thumbnail, timestamp) that you explicitly share through the App
- Is used to synchronize links between your devices
**We do not access, read, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive.**
### Firebase Cloud Messaging
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications when a new link is shared. These notifications are "silent" (no visible alert, sound, or banner) and contain only a signal to fetch new data. No personal data is transmitted through push notifications.
## Information We Do NOT Collect
- ❌ We do not collect analytics or usage data
- ❌ We do not track your location
- ❌ We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal data
- ❌ We do not use advertising or ad tracking
- ❌ We do not sell, share, or transmit any user data to third parties
- ❌ We do not operate any servers that store your data (all data stays in your own Google Drive)
## Data Storage and Security
All link data is stored exclusively in **your own Google Drive account**, secured by Google's infrastructure and your Google account credentials. We do not operate any databases or servers that store user data.
The Firebase Cloud Function used for push notifications is a stateless relay — it receives a notification trigger and forwards it via FCM. No data is logged or stored.
## Data Retention and Deletion
- Links stored in your Google Drive app data folder are automatically deleted after they are received by the destination device
- You can revoke iPC's access to your Google account at any time via [Google Account Permissions](https://myaccount.google.com/permissions)
- Uninstalling the App and revoking Google access removes all associated data
